Bishop’s record-breaking quarter is strongest fundraising showing in GA-02 history

ALBANY, GA – Today, the Sanford Bishop for Congress campaign announced raising more than $800,000 in the second quarter of 2022 for Congressman Bishop’s re-election efforts – the single biggest fundraising quarter he has ever posted.

These numbers bring Bishop’s total fundraising haul this cycle to more than $1.9 million, with over $1 million in the bank, as he heads into the general election.

“These record-breaking fundraising numbers demonstrate widespread support for Congressman Bishop’s work for the people of Georgia and our nation,” said Sanford Bishop for Congress campaign manager Robert West.
